Creative Healing
When one goes through trauma, or is supporting someone through trauma we must start to heal ourselves as trauma is stored at a cellular level.
There is a number of things that you can do in order to help the process of healing.
Here are some techniques I use:
1. EFT - Emotional Freedom Techniques. This is also called tapping, essentially tapping on acupressure points to help clear energetic blockages. The Tapping Solution is a great book and program to walk you through this process.
2. Meditation - I personally use meditation and prayer in order to help my body recover. I definitely prefer Kundalini Yoga and Meditation as a place to start and grow the most!
3. Counselling - I have a great counsellor who helps me unpack trauma!
4. doTerra Essential Oils - I love aromatherapy but also using the oils therapeutically and internally.
5. Music - making music is something that helps me heal
6. Creative and Crafty solutions - I definitely find being creative is a great way to help with the process of healing.
